Gabriela brings over 20 years of experience in the beauty and skincare industry, guided by a results-driven, research-based approach to skin health. Her work is grounded in the belief that the skin performs at its best when the right ingredients are used to support a healthy skin barrier.

She completed her education at the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology and went on to build a loyal, diverse clientele. In 2013, Gabriela founded The Skyn Bar in San Francisco, later relocating the practice to Eastlake, Chula Vista in San Diego County in 2022.

Gabriela’s extensive knowledge of skincare products and ingredients is shaped in part by her experience developing her own skincare line in 2013. While the line was discontinued after COVID, the process deepened her understanding of formulation and ingredient integrity.

Extensively certified and continually researching, Gabriela is known for asking why the skin reacts, why a product works, and why certain habits support long-term skin health.

In addition to advanced esthetics training, Gabriela studied holistic health coaching under Barbara O’Neill and holds certification in medical intuition. This background supports a more comprehensive way of assessing the skin, allowing her to recognize patterns beyond surface-level concerns.

At The Skyn Bar, Gabriela offers her Signature Facial, a highly personalized treatment centered on thorough skin analysis, intentional techniques, and carefully selected products. Her mission is to guide clients toward healthy skin habits rooted in education and trust.
